Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Technician to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of home maintenance services. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities

Safety and Cleanliness

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, emphasizing production and quality standards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure the well-being of yourself and others.

Customer and Partner Relationships

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, trade partners, and coworkers.
• Provide professional and courteous service while representing the company in the field.

Home Maintenance Inspections

• Schedule and conduct routine "home watch" inspections to identify maintenance needs and address any issues promptly.
• Document findings and communicate effectively with the Account Manager and clients.

Work Order Execution

• Plan, schedule, and execute assigned work orders, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Procure materials and equipment, ensuring safe transport, storage, and maintenance.

Trade Partner Coordination

• Coordinate and oversee trade partners involved in project execution, ensuring smooth collaboration and communication.
• Source trades, define scope of work, perform quantity take-offs, and price work orders in collaboration with the Account Manager.

Inventory Management

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized inventory of materials and equipment, tracking usage and replenishing supplies as needed.

Process Development and Documentation

• Assist with the development and documentation of processes to improve efficiency and standardize operations.
• Meticulously report and document project details, utilizing assigned software programs and operating systems.

Time and Expense Tracking

• Maintain accurate records of time and expenses for reporting and billing purposes, ensuring strict accounting practices.

Workforce Development

• Assist in recruiting, training, and developing the GBM workforce to support company growth strategy and daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in home maintenance or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong technical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and customers.
• Proficiency in using technology for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
